Dr Irina is an Anaesthetist and Pain Medicine Fellow with experience in perioperative and acute pain management for the last 10 years working at University Hospital Geelong, Alfred Health and Royal Melbourne Hospital.
She has special interests include chronic pelvic pain, nociplastic pain and interventional pain management.
I am a fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists and a member of various local and international groups including the International Association for the Study of Pain and Doctors for the Environment Australia.
Other interests include sustainability in healthcare, planetary health and its impact on human health.
She lives locally at the edge of the Otway National Park with her husband and two children, gardening edible native plants with the help of a bunch of chickens and bees.
