How to see a Specialist
Step 1: Choose a Practitioner

Explore our website to discover the right practitioner for you and learn about the services we offer.

We have 4 clinics across Victoria:

Pain Matrix Waurn Ponds
Pain Matrix Geelong
Pain Matrix Box Hill

Step 2: See your GP

See your GP to help decide if a pain specialist is right for you. Talk to them about the information you found on our website and work on a management plan with them.

We accept all referrals and our friendly reception staff will be more than willing to discuss any concerns. Your GP can use our Doctors Referral Guide if they need guidance on helping you see a practitioner with us.

Step 3: Submit your referral

Once you get a referral from your GP, you can submit your referral to us either via fax or email. Our team will then create a profile for you and triage your referral.

You can find out where to send your referral by heading to our Doctors Guide to Referring.

Step 4: Book your appointment

Once we have your referral a team member will contact you to book an initial appointment with one of our Practitioners.

Step 5: Connect with your Practitioner

See your practitioner at your initial appointment and work with them to help develop an action plan.
